Academic success

Elizabeth Macarthur High School was proudly represented at the High School Certificate, High Achievers Reception at Camden Council, with 51 students from Year 11 and 12 2024 and 8 dedicated staff members in attendance. This heartwarming reception was a fantastic opportunity to recognise the accomplishments of students who have earned results in the top 20% of the state. It’s worth noting that 60% of last year’s Year 12 cohort fell within this outstanding demographic, making the achievement even more impressive.

We are thrilled to announce that Mahika in Year 9 has been selected to be a member of the Minister's Student Council (DOVES). This is a huge achievement, as only three students from our schools region were chosen, along with students from all over the state. In addition, Mahika has been elected as the Executive Shadow Secretary. Congratulations, Mahika! The Minister's Student Council (DOVES) was created in 2021, following a request from the NSW Government to develop a formal structure to access student views.

Success beyond the classroom

Abigail, a Year 12 student, recently showcased her talent by performing with the Pulse Alive Dance Company at the PULSE Alive event. This event is a significant opportunity for students and teachers from NSW public schools in Greater Sydney and nearby areas, offering high-quality experiences in the performing arts. Abigail had the exciting opportunity to perform in front of two sold-out audiences!
