Senior debating team, round 4

Congratulations to our senior Team B debaters who were successful in their debate on Tuesday against Elderslie High School.The topic was Law and Order and the team had to argue  That Australia should raise the legal drinking age to 21. EMHS won the coin toss and were arguing for the Affirmative. It was a brilliant and past paced debate with strong arguments and rebuttals presented on both sides. However, Elizabeth Macarthur held their ground and came out victorious. All future rounds will be knockout as we move on to the General rounds 5-8 where we battle it out for a spot in the State Finals at Sydney University on August 16th. This has been the furthest we have gone in the Senior debating competition, so congratulations to the current team of Mahika, Jackson, Sam and Kalolaine.
